Great food, great service, never a disappointment. We drive an hour to get there for special occasions.

General Manager, Ms. Zahra and her staff does a great job. Food is outstanding! Atmosphere is great. Employees are amazing. I met Mr. Richardson, Chef Trainee, he will be a great asset to the restaurant chain !

This restaurant has a great vibe. Service was excellent and so was our food! My husband had the 8 oz filet and it was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Perfectly medium rare and exceptional beef. I had the grilled sea bass special which had asparagus and grilled shrimp- fingerling potatoes- melted in my mouth. We started with a really interesting charcuterie board with three cheeses and three meats- a sweet mustard and a blend of golden raisins and cranberry that was amazing. It was my husbands birthday so we finished with a slice of coconut cake that was perfection. Highly recommend!

This place was fun and definitely worth a visit. Corkage was $25. Unfortunately, since it was an older bottle, the cork broke. I was surprised that the restaurant did not have a Durand to extract old corks. Food was good, though we were disappointed that they ran out of the one thing and reason we booked the place, the lamb. Did try the calamari, crab cake, burger, and filet mignon. All of It was good. Ambiance was dark and moody. Service was attentive.

The food and services were very good. I love the dim lights, and the romantic vibes . I really enjoyed myself. The food was amazingly delicious!!

J. Gilberts has been well known steakhouse for years and they still do it right. We had a reservation at 5:15 on Saturday and the place was already noticeably busy. That didn't matter because our waiter was on top of it. We were greeted shortly after sitting down. Our waiter brought us waters while we looked through the drink menu. We ordered wine that was suggested by our waiter. It was good and paired nicely with the food and ambiance. They give you delicious bread and whipped butter. Our waiter offered us more after we devoured the first loaf. It was great not having to ask if it was okay to have another. Food was delicious. Nicely seasoned throughout each component. Lobster was cooked perfect. It had a delicate texture and tasty seasoning on the outside. The steak was also cooked perfect to medium rare. The char on the outside was delicious and made for pleasant presentation. The sides were not the star of the show and I liked that. But they were still great. The mushrooms were tasty-- the truffle really showed up.I would like to try the lobster mac and cheese next time I come. This is a great place for a date because it is dark and candle lit at each table. Service was quick and their ambiance was very pleasant. We will be back!

We had friends in from out of town, and so we decided to take them to J Gilberts. We had a reservation, so when we arrived, we were immediately seated. Our waitress was incredible, and did a great job answering questions, and even taking pictures for us. Two of us had the lavender drop martini while we were waiting for food. They were amazing! For dinner, three of us had steak, and I had the seafood mixed grill. I'm pretty sure all four of us ate everything on our plates. It was just so good! We also share a great bottle of wine. The ambience at J Gilberts was perfect for allowing us to have a relaxing meal and catch up with old friends we had not seen in a while. Overall, this was a wonderful 5 star visit!

We had a very nice time dining here. They have a great happy hour menu to start you off. Service was quick and informative. We went for the prie fix menu and it did not disappoint.

I had a great first experience at J Gilbert's. I ordered from the $64 Tier Prix fixe menu and the Mango Tango for my drink. I got the filet combo with the crab cake for my main. The filet cooked medium rare was perfect. The crab cake was full of yummy crab meat and without all the breading fillers you often get with crab cakes. The cheesecake was also a highlight. I'm a huge cheesecake fan and this was up there with the best I've had. The starter bread, mashed potatoes, and asparagus were all average / pretty standard in my opinion. I'm not sure if you're able to sub mashed potatoes and asparagus on the prix fixe menu but would maybe ask on my next visit. 5/5 Mango Tango 3/5 Starter bread and butter 5/5 Crab bisque 5/5 Filet 5/5 Crab cake 3/5 Mashed potatoes 3/5 Asparagus 5/5 Cheesecake The restaurant is dark and has a cool vibe.
